About

Alisa's musical journey began at the age of 6, when Alisa started taking violin lessons at Yamaha Music Square Max & Jeanny. She also dabbled in piano, which she played just for fun. At the age of 10 and a half, Alisa discovered fingerstyle guitar techniques through YouTube, which she taught herself. Her interest in the violin never waned, so she took violin courses in Sekolah Musik Yayasan Pendidikan Musik (SM YPM) in the Basic Education Program (2012–2017) alongside her formal school. Thanks to her musical education, she mainly took part as a Head of Production, Show Director, and/or Lead Arranger in her formal school concerts and was often awarded as a talented student in the musical arts category. Furthermore, she continued in the Pre-Conservatory Program (2017–2020) to pursue violin studies alongside her studies in Environmental Engineering at Universitas Indonesia (2019–2023). She has been actively performing in concerts, gigs, events, schools, and universities as a singer, violinist, and guitarist, and has collaborated with various amazing artists.

In 2017, she won a Gold Medal in a women's category of solo guitar competition held by Indonesia's Ministry of Education and Culture, Festival dan Lomba Seni Siswa Nasional (FLS2N). It was very unexpected for Alisa as she learned guitar autodidactically and come from a family with a non-musical environment. Moreover, her violin academic excellence at SM YPM brought her to perform in several concerts at notable venues: Goethe-Institut Jakarta (2017), Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (2019), and Embassy of the Russian Federation (2022 & 2024). She has also played as a violinist in some of the oldest orchestras in Indonesia: Twilite Orchestra under the baton of Addie M.S. for OrkesKita & Belajar Bersama Maestro held by Indonesia's Ministry of Education and Culture (2019) and An Act for Humanity in the Russian Embassy (2022), and; Orkes Simfoni Universitas Indonesia (OSUI) Mahawaditra (2022). In 2023, she was nationally selected as an assistant principal violinist for the prestigious Gita Bahana Nusantara Orchestra to perform in Istana Negara Republik Indonesia for the Independence Day Ceremony of Indonesia.

Her social presence has been growing since was covered by international news media SEA Today and was featured in Far Out Magazine's social platform posts, as well as features by Indomusikgram, Indonesian Fingerstyle Guitar Community (IFGC), and G7th Capo. She has also been working with Indonesia's well-known musical brands: Ivan Guitar Studio with Rusi Pickup Indonesia, and Mandalika Music. Her educating enthusiasm led her to conduct national music workshops in youth music organizations: Ministry of Education and Culture web series, Indonesia's oldest universities and schools, and more. Sharing her music with the world, Alisa records and uploads her arrangements on YouTube and Instagram with over 1M+ views in total; letting people's bonds in the global music community broaden their knowledge of Indonesian musical arts.

Although she has worked as a freelance musician for various genres (i.e., classical, traditional, and contemporary music), her ability to unite diverse disciplines brings her to be honored as the #1 Most Outstanding Engineering Student in the Arts Category by the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia. This speaks about her ability to strike a balance between her music career and engineering studies. Driven by a thirst for knowledge, she embraced opportunities to lead winning teams in national/international competitions, and experienced volunteering in various youth organizations with different fields and roles. Her ability to bridge gaps sets her apart within the realms of musical arts, humanities, and sustainability.
